Appraisal reports are required for a variety of reasons.  The most common need for an appraisal report is for insurance coverage or potential sale of a work.  An appraisal can also be necessary for charitable contributions, dissolution of marriage, settlement of an estate or to establish damage or loss.  Appraisal reports substantiate an unbiased opinion of value which is based on market research.  All reports conform to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
